(My) Top 5 Fall Coffee Spots in Portland

It's officially sweater weather, which around here means one thing: it's coffee season. Whether you're settled into a new home this fall or just need a reason to get out of the house on a gray Saturday, here are five Portland coffee spots worth the trip right now.

Sisters Coffee Company, Pearl District. Since we just spent a week talking about the Pearl, it felt right to mention this one. Sisters got its start in a cabin in Central Oregon, and that same warm, unfussy feeling carries into their Pearl District cafe. A good spot to slow down after a walk through Tanner Springs Park, or grab your computer and find a table in the upstairs loft for a little work session.

Coava Coffee Roasters. Housed in a beautiful, light filled space, Coava is a favorite for a reason, thoughtfully sourced beans and a genuine dedication to craft that comes through in every cup. If you consider yourself a coffee person, this is a pilgrimage worth making.

Good Coffee. The name undersells it. This place has the feel of sitting in your grandmother's sunroom, all warmth and greenery, and it's the kind of spot where an hour disappears without you noticing. Ideal for a slow fall afternoon with a book. Grab a bag of beans to take home, trust me, it's delicious!

Dragonfly Coffee. Another NW Portland favorite. The oversized couch gives off Friends vibes, and the quick order exterior counter has dog treats for those that have the furry friends on their way to get coffee. This place oozes with charm. Be sure to check it out. 

Case Study Coffee. Several locations throughout Portland with a comfortable, classic coffee shop vibe, but with an edge. It is one of my favortie places to meet a client, a friend, or spend time with a good book and enjoy an organic cup of coffee. I think you'll love it too!
